The studio is located at 251 Edinburgh Road North in Guelph, Ontario.  Our 2 spacious studios, each with a wall of full-length mirrors and ballet barres, have “sprung” floors that mimic those of professional gyms, providing an element of comfort while dancing while at the same time reducing injuries such as shin splints.  Our building is air conditioned for maximum comfort for our dancers during warm fall, spring and summer lessons and is well lit during evening classes.

The Holly Hughes Dance Academy has parking on-site, a convenient drop-off area and can be easily and safely reached via Guelph Transit.

History of the Holly Hughes Dance Academy

Established in 1983 by Holly Hughes, the Holly Hughes Dance Academy provides professional and recreational dance lessons for dancers aged 2 to adult.

Holly started her dance school after studying at Juilliard, Broadway Dance, Steps, Alvin Ailey and the American Ballet Company in New York City, as well as many renowned dance studios throughout the United States and Canada.

All of the instructors at the Holly Hughes Dance Academy strive to provide quality dance instruction and a variety of fun opportunities to learn and demonstrate dance skills while building self esteem.  We encourage academic excellence as well as other involvements that contribute to the development of a multi-talented, well rounded individual. We commit ourselves to teach, passing on the very finest and up-to-date techniques gathered from the most prestigious and superior of quality syllabus and renowned dance instructors.
